SON BLEDA – STYLISH AT HOME
The building and its surroundings
Son Bleda was built in the 12th century, originally as a monastery. As a last testimonial of these times, you will find a little chapel situated in the heart of Son Bleda. Then in the 17th century, it was refurbished to the manor house as we know it today. When Dieter Rahmel (owner) bought Son Bleda in 1994, he invested almost 8 years in the restauration of the building and its surroundings. The result is a stunning retreat with stylish rooms, generous apartments, Junior Suites and Suites, each with its own style/design and decorated with art objects from the owners private collection. A fantastic wild garden and a pool overlooking the wide coast of Cala Deià complete the picture.
Son Bleda, situated in the heart of the Tramuntana mountain range (“Unesco World Cultural Heritage”), is not a Luxury Hotel in the common sense, but a comfortable home for people loving peace, nature and style.

Junior Suite ANDRATX
This is our most popular Junior Suite. Romantic and spacious, high ceiling, bright and lovingly furnished with precious details. From here you overlook the wide gardens of Son Bleda with its palms, olive trees, orange and lemon trees and the Valley of Sóller. Especially beautiful is the 17th century white marble chimney.

Junior Suite ARTA (AC)
Artá with its rustic, comfortable furniture remembers tradition of Majorca in modern times. Junior Suite ARTA is very sunny, has air condition, garden view (street side) or onto the magnificent Patio. Spacious bathroom.

Double room BUNYOLA (AC)
Lovely modest double room with its own small terrace overlooking the gardens of Son Bleda and the Tramuntana mountain range. A nice modern bathroom. Air condition.

Grande Suite DEIA (AC)
This stunning suite with more than 120 m² and its large terrace on the roof is a masterpiece at Son Bleda. Furnished in a modern design with artifacts. A typical Majorcan style kitchen. Separate bedroom with spacious bathroom. Comfort at its best.

Maisonette MANACOR
In the upper floor there is a little lounge, situated on the lower floor is a pretty bathroom and the bedroom. During summer time it is especially comfortable as the window opens on to the old Patio which stays cool throughout the summer heat. Maisonette MANACOR is furnished in the typical Majorcan style.

Family Suite SOLLER
This modern furnished Suite offers a fantastic view, stretching 30 kilometers across the valley of Sóller. The suite is like a loft, very spacious with modern furnishings. Comprises of two bedrooms, both with private bathroom and one room has a comfortable living room. Suite SOLLER is especially suitable for families or a group of friends.

Suite VALLDEMOSSA
A large living room with an old sandstone chimney, a private terrace with magnificent garden. A separate bedroom with its own access to the terrace. A nice open plan kitchen within the living room.
